These are two birthday cakes I made for two guests at Tournaig Lodge in Poolewe. The chocolate one is a cocoa sponge cake soaked in syrup and filled and iced with a dark chocolate ganache while the fruit one is a lemon sponge filled and topped with a lemon curd cream and fresh strawberries. This is another birthday cake I made for Emma from Strathpeffer. It is filled with chocolate ganache and is decorated with chocolate slabs and curls that I made.
