Favourite Cookery Books

Hello, this is my first post for 2010.

I am finally managing to get some deserved rest and so I have decided to share with you recipes ideas from some of my favourite books.

I love the recipes from Nigella Lawson because they are about real food, not posh, just food that you can enjoy with your friends and family. One of the books I want to tell you about is "Nigella Express". Very quick recipes, tasty and easy to make. Try the Caramel Croissant Pudding (an upgraded bread and butter pudding) or the No Churn Pomegranate Ice Cream. And if you are looking for a savoury fix you can find a Sweetcorn Chowder with Toasted Tortillas.

Another book is "Feast". In this one you can find all you need to entertain a small party or a crowd. Try the ham cooked in coke or one of the various chocolate cake. Sometime I feel like Nigella, especially when I watch her programs on telly and she sneakes to the kitchen at night to get a slice of cake or a bbq rib from the fridge!!!

You can get both these books from Amazon, just click on the link on the side.
